Audit Installed Packages with UniGetUI

Quick answer

A UniGetUI package inventory records discoverable installed packages, sources and versions; it is not a full backup of user profiles, app settings or software license data.

Create a useful inventory that distinguishes package metadata from app data.

Before changing anything

Record the application version, Windows build, package-manager name, package identifier and exact error message. Back up important app data before making installations or removals. Verify commands against current documentation for your version.

Step-by-step checks

  1. Refresh package managers and review duplicate matches.
  2. Export an inventory or bundle through supported features.
  3. Record source, package ID and version for each important entry.
  4. Back up application data and license information separately.

Limitations and safety

Reinstalling from a package list does not automatically restore user data.

How to confirm the fix

Repeat the operation on one package. Check the manager output, source identity and installed application version. If the error remains, capture the new error details rather than repeating broad resets.
